Leadership Structure:
Thrive Ministry Leader: Oversees the overall implementation of the Thrive program, ensures smooth operations and provides leadership to the team. Coordinator is accessible and responsible for all members of each W.O.R.K. team. Meets regularly with those members and coordinates closely with the team to identify and resolve any issues that arise. Provides guidance and support to Process Team Leader, STEP and Share Group Leaders, mentors and peers. Recruits and trains STEP, Share Group leaders, mentors and peers for the Thrive program. Coordinates and schedules weekly meetings and events. Meets with and coordinates as needed with tech, media, worship and pastoral staff.
WORK TEAM
W- Welcome Team – volunteers who greet our guests, set up information tables, hand out pamphlets and collect information. Keep up with and restock refreshments, literature, name tags, pens, etc. Ensure adequate resources are available for program participants.
O – Operational Team – volunteers who arrange for and schedule speakers, worship team, testimonials, teachings. Coordinate with church child care, parking, security and facilities to make sure Thrive night goes smoothly and easily for all. Printed rundown of each Thrive night to other TEAM members by noon the day of.
R – Resource Team – Serve as P.O.C. (point of contacts) between Thrive and all other ministries within our church, Men, Ladies, Young Adults, High School, Kids, as well as all other leadership groups, Elders, pastoral team, volunteer committees. Identify those within our church that would benefit and would be benefited from Thrive. Collaborate with church leadership to promote the Thrive program within the community.
K – Kindness Team – Keeps, updates and maintains contact with all. Thank you, We missed you, Anniversaries, Birthday, Holiday, newsletter and email reminders. Personal phone calls, emails and text messages.
PROCESS TEAM
Process Leader – Works directly with the Ministry Leader to supervise the Process Team. Provides support to the Ministry Leader in the area of process. Oversees and provides guidance and supports STEP and Share Group Leaders, mentors and peers. Recruits and trains STEP, Share Group leaders, mentors and peers for the Thrive program.
Share Group Leader – Facilitates the share group, keeps time and moderates to make sure all who wish to share have an opportunity.
STEP Study Leader – Facilitates, hosts, moderates men’s or women’s STEP study. May be done by ZOOM or in person.
Mentor - Takes on the role of the traditional sponsor from AA, CR or Al, guiding and supporting individuals through their Thrive journey. A Mentor is “just a little farther” along the journey. Attends training and becomes knowledgeable about the Thrive program. Establishes a trusting and confidential relationship with an assigned mentee. Guides and supports mentees in their journey toward hope, health, and healing. Provides encouragement, prayer, and Christ-centered insights. Assists mentees in setting achievable goals and overcoming obstacles.
Peer - Acts as an accountability partner offering support, encouragement, and understanding to fellow participants. Attends training and familiarizes themselves with the Thrive program. Offers support and accountability to peers within the program. Participates in group discussions and provides insights from personal experiences. Encourages and uplifts fellow participants. Helps create a safe and welcoming atmosphere during meetings.
