Thrive Teaching / Testimony Pathway

Teaching

Thrive participants are encouraged to attend the weekly Large Group Meeting where regular scheduled teachings on the Process Pathways (12 Pillars, Prayer, Community) will be given. To better encourage audience participation and interaction, Thrive encourages these teachings to be offered in a conversational format as much as possible instead of a presentational format. It has been found that two people on stage engaged in an open conversation about a subject with the audience is far more effective than a single presenter with little audience interaction.

In addition to teachings from the Process Pathways, Thrive may also bring in special guest speakers to speak on topics of interest such as: PTSD, Grief Recovery, Chronic Pain, Post-Abortion Stress, and many others.

Testimony

Revelation 12: 11 tells us that we overcome our enemy by "the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony." Thrive encourages all participants to work on and be prepared to give their testimony. There is no greater teaching tool in our journey than the experience of others. Leadership will ask for those willing to share their testimony during Large Group. Testimonies should be brief, 15-20 minutes, focus on how God worked to help us overcome our struggles and difficulties. There is a “How to Give My Testimony” tutorial to help guide those interested in preparation.

Genesis 50:20 NLT

You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people.

Thrive will also occasionally share video testimony when live testimony is unscheduled. Video testimonies are also encouraged to be shared among participants.
